It reminds me of just recently how Amazon purchased Bond and then released posters advertising the older movies, but with the guns edited out of the actors' hands. And the fans are left scratching their heads and wondering 'Well wtf did you buy the property for?'

Being completely fair to him, his full reasoning was that he finds Marcus attractive and isn't able to act like himself around him (ironically, George gave a similar reason for nominating Sam, i.e., not able to be himself around him), and that in itself is a valid reason, I think. True, the 'reason behind the reason' is...unorthodox and schoolgirl-sounding, to say the least, but let's not kid ourselves that BB didn't simply want to reduce his reasoning down to a 'funny' soundbite that they could presumably make tiktok/YouTube shorts out of.
