Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins has died after being attacked in jail, prison sources have confirmed.

The disgraced rock star from Pontypridd was serving a 29-year sentence at HMP Wakefield for child sex offences.

West Yorkshire Police said they were called to the prison on Saturday morning to an assault on a prisoner, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Watkins was jailed in December 2013 for a string of child sex offences, including the attempted rape of a baby.

Police said detectives were investigating and enquiries ongoing at the scene.

Eeekk I remember liking their music before and being utterly shocked. It really showed that pedos don't have a particular look. You would have a thought a good looking guy like that would not be depraved in any way shape or form but well...

I think it was it’s not the end of world I loved, it was a fav of mine when I was in college. Maybe I won’t feel guilty listening to it now that he’s dead

R Kelly had quite a few decent songs, i loved his colab album with Jay Z, The Best Of Both Worlds, but yeah, just doesn't hit the same anymore. Same with Kelly's Ignition, that was a summer banger back in the day, but nah not anymore.
