Default Check Your Local Cinemas For Classic Horror Movies This Month

I've just booked the The Thing (1980) showing at my local on the 20th. Then The Exorcist (Directions Cut) Nov 3rd. That's not one of my faves, but watching it in a modern day cinema will be an experience.

Different cinemas all over the UK and Scotland showing different classics throughout the Halloween month.

The Thing is still one of the most terrifying horror films. Loved the 80’s one. I also liked the 2011 one (not as much though).

Have you ever seen the 1950s one?

The Thing From Another World? Yeah seen that, have it on vhs. Love it. Never seen the 2011. They brought out a new The Crow too, no thanks.

I really wanna watch the OG Texas Chainsaw in a cinema, Kim Newman (my fave horror critic) says watching it, and hearing it, in a cinema is a come to god like experience.

…I recall being totally freaked and terrified with the Exorcist movie…great experience to see them in a modern day cinema setting, though…have a frightful time…..
