Default Look out for the super Beaver Moon tonight

See the Super Beaver Moon rise tonight. Here are 6 ways to enjoy the lunar spectacle

So the technical name for a supermoon is a perigee full Moon, and when this occurs, the full Moon can appear 14% larger and 30% brighter.

The November 2025 supermoon is the biggest, brightest supermoon of the year.

I woke up about 4am this morning, had the curtains open with the moon shining in, it lit up the whole room. Very impressive.

I got a picture when it was a bit higher up. We walked the neighborhood while it was coming up and figured it must be one of those special Moons. We could see it coming through the trees in its full disc beauty.

When I was younger, I lived by the Port of Houston so occasionally I could see the Moon coming up when it was still quite low near the horizon so very magnified as our house was on elevated terrain. The detail was amazing.. and yeah, it's not as comparable when you have silly trees and the like in the way.

the Great Cheeto Moon

Edit: Very interesting the difference in which parts of the Moon show more/less based on how far down aka closer to the Equator we are... (compared to the UK) ...
