Default Electric Cars are more Heavy damaging UK Roads

[Heavier electric vehicles (EVs) do cause more stress
on UK roads than lighter petrol or diesel cars,
with research from the
University of Leeds showing the average
EV causes 2.24 times more wear,
Though the primary cause of potholes remains
underfunding and general deterioration
of the road network, not solely EVs.
While EVs are heavier due to large batteries,
The widespread issue is the ageing infrastructure that
isn't built for the current overall vehicle weight]

This is why the Budget is to
introduce
new charges for EV's
