I presumed he’d died decades ago !!!



It’s such a shame that our legendary comedians and musicians simply fade into the ether wheras legendary footballers are forever celebrated and appear at the main football matches and finals or World Cup/ European final draws

i loved this man. I saw him several times in the theatre in glasgow. He was a true glaswegian, and a very funny man

I’ve watched some of his shows (well before my time) with my parents on TV, he was brilliant. A real variety show performer and loved his impressions - particularly The Queen.

RIP. What a great age.
