The UK's Head of Counter Terrorism Policing, Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor, has warned that more than 1,000 extremists capable of committing a terror attack on British soil are being monitored by the security services. This warning comes as the UK faces unprecedented levels of radicalisation, with over 10,000 referrals to the Government's deradicalisation programme Prevent. The Chief of the Counter Terror Operations Centre (CTOC) has also highlighted the increasing influence of ISIS and the encouragement of lone wolf attacks in the West. The threat from ISIS has never truly gone away, but there has been a significant increase in activity, resulting in two ISIS-inspired attacks at the end of 2025.

Just wait and see what happens if the Iranian g8vernment is actually overthrown. The Islamist will have to flee persecution then.....wonder where they will go..
