Some Surprising News About The ‘Fallout’ Season 3 Release Date
Fallout aired its season finale last night with a not exactly conclusive ending across most storylines. That’s because we are in fact headed for season 3 of Fallout, but new information indicates it may be closer than we think.
We know that Fallout season 3 will begin filming on May 1, 2026, just three months from now. It’s well into pre-production, and all of this indicates that the show is trying to shave off time between seasons so fans don’t have to deal with as long of a wait this time. So what does that filming date mean? Here’s the math:
* Fallout season 2 started filming in November 2024 and that ended in May 2025 with an interruption due to California wildfires. That’s seven months, but we’ll cut it to six because of the delay. Then, there were seven months of post-production.
* Airing in December 2025, Fallout season 2 arrived one year and eight months after season 1 premiered in April 2024.
* Now that production is already spooling up for season 3 just three months after this finale, we can add six months to May for filming and seven for post-production, which would be June 2027. That slims the gap between seasons 2 and 3 to just 18 months.
It's never too late to be who you once could have been...
