BBC:
[Police have launched a murder investigation
after a 14-year-old boy was shot dead
in broad daylight in Woolwich,
south-east London.

Officers were called to reports of a shooting
at about 15:40 BST on Thursday
on Lord Warwick Street.
Police originally said the victim was a man
but have since confirmed the boy's age.

The boy was treated by paramedics
but died at the scene. His family has
been informed, the Met says.

Two boys, aged 14 and 16, and an 18-year-old man
have been arrested on suspicion
of murder in connection with the incident.

Det Ch Insp Lucie Card, who is leading
the investigation appealed for people
in the area at the time who may have
information to come forward,
as well as anyone who may have
relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.]
