Default PRESS RELEASE: Housemates Pass Gymkhana Task

BIG BROTHER HOUSEMATES PASS GYMKHANA TASK AFTER GAMBLING 100% ON THEIR FOOD BUDGET

Big Brother has announced to the housemates that they have passed their sixth weekly task. This means they will have £123 to spend on this week’s provisions.

This week, Big Brother set the housemates a “gymkhana” task. For the first time, they decided to bet a massive 100% of their total weekly shopping budget on successfully completing the task so, having passed, they will have £123 between six people to spend on supplies for next week. Their shopping will be delivered on Sunday.

The task involved the housemates having to learn how to ‘tack up’ a horse. In addition, using their own dummy horse, they had to complete a course of show-jumping fences in the house and garden. As Lisa suffered from breathing problems during their run-through, she was excused from taking part in today’s task.

This afternoon - dressed in full equestrian attire - they were tested within a 6 minutes and 45 seconds time limit. As a group, they tacked up the horse within the required time; and individually they completed the course of show-jumping fences. During the show-jumping, the housemates incurred one time penalty. However, they still managed to complete this part of the task within the allotted time period.

On hearing they had passed this week’s task, the relieved housemates jumped in the air and cheered. A grinning Ray shouted “100%” to the rest of his housemates. To celebrate Big Brother provided them with a barbeque and food to cook.
