The extraordinary massive gamble on Jonty to win Big Brother which has rocked Britain's bookmakers, has continued over lunchtime today.

Having been 66/1 on Monday, Blue Square have just cut Jonty to only 5/1 to win big Brother. Every other UK Bookmaker has slashed his odds in the past 24 hours following a huge surge of money on the eccentric housemate.

With 4 weeks still go in this longest ever Big Brother, it seems that Jonty has now emerged from the pack to become the clear challenger to long-time favourite Brian Belo whose popularity has began to dip somewhat over the past week.

Having been as low as 1/3 Brians odds have drifted to 4/7 with VC Bet, following a deluge of money for new housemate Jonty. What was expected to be a one-horse race now looks like becoming a very close race indeed with Jonty already amassing a huge fan base despite only being in the house for just 6 days...
