If you are a fan of Brian, and the Twins are capable of beating him. In order to make sure he wins, you must get rid of the competition when you can.

If they are contender to take the crown from another HM if they reached the final, strategically you must vote them out.

Amy will be up next week, so the argument goes, why waste a vote.

First of of as seperate, the twins dont cause any threat of winning to Brian. The closest was amanda and she was not even as popular as Jonty. So they have nothing to gain by putting the twins together. Secondly the pairing only increases their chances of getting votes against brian.
The bigger threat to Brian wouldve been Liam or Jonty, not sam or amnda seperated

Can some kind person explain to me how the twins being one will pose a threat to Brian? I'm so confused. I get that they will be vote as one, be evicted as one etc...but not the part about them now posing a threat to Brian.

Whether they are likeable or not is beside the point. We are talking about tactical voting.

Lauren, if you are a Brian fan, why do you want the Twins to possibly rob him of the title? Logic dictates you must vote them out if you want Brian to win. That is tactical voting.

But their chances of getting to the final have just been shot to pieces so their chances of ( one of them ) actually winning have now gone completely.
No matter who they are against supporters of Brian , Liam Gerry etc. will all combine tactically to get rid of them - they could even go to one of the biggest percentages ever because of this

By next Saturday Brian will be a runaway leader and Sam & Amanda will no longer be part of the show because they'll have been evicted.

Counting them as one is major disadvantage until the final which until now they were looking very likely to reach.

Sam & Amanda were getting too close to challenging Brian so they have to go. Of course Endemol will make out that Liam is challenging him to increase voting numbers but the reality is that Brian will get 70-80 % of the final votes.

I think the idea is that fans of other HMs will see this as their chance to get the twins out and remove them as a threat.

Also people who've bet on someone else winning will see this as their chance.

The probability that the twins will go this week definitely has increased, because without this twist they would not even be up; and while they probably would survive in a 2-way vote, a 3-way is much harder to predict.

I think it's significant that BB has combined them in a way that also puts them up for eviction. If BB just wanted to combine them, BB would have arranged the combination in some other way. And if BB wanted them to be a credible challenge in the final, to make it more exciting, why put them up artificially at all before the final?

I'm also a fan of the twins though, so why would I equally rob them of the title? Many Brian fans are also equally fans of the twins and will be thinking along the same lines.

technicly yes, but im afraid it doesnt work like that.
especially when most brian fans are also fans of the twins.

and remember we are voting to EVICT. who would pick up the phone to EVICT the twins, just because they like brian more?
