lol, I really do love this... I've said that so much, ahh, the way he went back into the house, and said "Good Evening"... ahh, classic.

ahh, yes, this is the best twist/gimmick/whatever you want to call it.

I particularly like this from the Big Brother Site:

Sorry, but this smacks of pure desparation from C4 executives who are trying to save a flagging show and their own skins.

After this years fiasco that was BB4, don't count on there being a BB5

BB4 killed it Stone dead

Not that you'll ever believe it... but this has been planned for more than one series, and has been mentioned by Endemol employees previously.

Whilst I'm in an attack-mode, I'd like to say the age-old addage... If you don't like something, don't watch it.

The current talk from Endemol and Channel4 is that BB5 will be going ahead. Of course that's only discussion, but I'm almost certain that BB5 shall exist, as are most people.

Some people are tired of it, many millions aren't. So... And one other thing to consider:

Big Brother gets more viewers than V Graham Norton. Ergo, if Big Brother is this supposed flop this year, why hasn't V Graham Norton been axed then?

I'm getting VERY tired of the whining of people about the program. If they don't like it, TURN OVER.

*grumble*

I think it's fantastic that Jon is back in the house again and will stay for the remaining duration. It was absolutely necessary to get a new house mate in following the departure of Lisa which was inevitable, to avoid the house-mates returning to zombies and the house a morgue. Jon will be at his best and ensure the house-mates are kept on their toes.

I'm glad he's gone back in, and I'm also glad Lisa came second, if it makes people happy to see him back in, it's great. I'm glad the producers are taking notice of the bb fan's. I'm also made up about Jon saying he's got some talking to do with Cameron. I'm glad Jon's in because the housemates left know he's intelligent and are more worried now, than when Lisa was in there. It's great, it's not supposed to be an easy ride to 70 grand.

So now the winner of BB4 is going to be chosen by Jon Tickle. Remember his words to Davina on going in the house. "Cameron can't win"

To allow an ex housemate in and blatently pick on one housemat to try and discredit that house mate is the most disgusting and fraudulant thing the desperate channel organisers have done to date.

I wonder if Jon Tickle will try and throw a spanner in the works for "Scott". I don't think so.

Is Jon Tickle so important that the show is allowed to become hopelessly corrupted.

If this is the flavour of things to come I hope ther is not a BB5 .....

I find this an interesting point of view... I mean, yes, it's "unfair"... but I think people are <tania>blantantly</tania> forgetting the key aspect of Big Brother:

Big Brother is a GAME SHOW

The aim of the game is to win £70,000. It's not meant to be a popularity contest, it's not meant to be easy and it's not meant to be run by just those inside the house. Public opinion, housemates opinions, etc are all counted too. If the housemates decided they loved Lisa, would she have had the reception she had? No, she wouldn't. So, whatever happens it's events INSIDE the house that shape it. Whilst Jon declared that, Cameron may come out on top... The majority of them have a game plan, Cameron is definetly included within that.

At the end of the day, Big Brother's a game show, it's designed specifically for things like this. Winning £70,000 is not meant to be easy!

And, also... the PUBLIC chose that Jon went in, most full well knowing that he would pick off members of the house - You can't blame the production team for that. Jon has fans, it happens. If you don't like the fact that this is the whole point of the game show, I suggest you watch something else.

I do like the phrase "desperate channel organisers"... Big Brother continues to get higher ratings than almost every other program on channel 4... very desperate indeed. And... you do know this has been planned for a few series? That is has been mentioned by Endemol staff previously? That similar situations emerge with any housemate that's brought in, it's no different. We saw the housemates tear Lisa apart, we've seen them select and attempt to beat down other housemates - that also directly influences the public. It's how it works!

Bananarama, I understand what you're saying but how do you think the house-mates would have performed without the re-introduction of Jon? I can evaluate a guess; they would either be sleeping, eating or lazing by the pool reading books and we would be none the wiser who we would like to go on and win.

With the same rules applied about discussing events from the outside, Jon will have his work cut out and will not have an easy time extracting any information the house-mates will not willingly divulge.
