Default Did carole go OTT regarding the roast?

Does anyone else think that Carole went over the top on last nights highlights when they cooked the roast and ACCIDENTLY !!! used the nut stuffing thing in the chicken?

i think she did! it's not her kitchen they should be allowed to cook when thet want and what they want!

I got the impression that their intentions were good but if they didn't know what they were doing they should of made something else instead.

i agree with you..

i think carole thinks cooking is her place in the house,

in without her cooking, she feels like she dosnt have a place in the house.

but she did congratualteliam for making it..

shes was pissed off about using her vegetable stuff. because she and jonty are vegetarian.

well I think she was out of order, the woman does not have the right to tell anyone in that house what they can and can not cook and eat. The shopping budget belongs to them all not Carole queen of the kitchen.

Yeah i think she was out of order because the housemates didnt know what time they were going to come back and they didnt want to starve so they decided to cook it anyway and it was an accident that Kara louise put the nut roast in and she managed to salvage some

I'm getting fed up with her always having a go, okay Kara messed up, but Jonty was there and never told her the situation. It was a no win situation if they hadn't tried to make anything she would have played the hard done by martyr card about how she has to do it all. Carole is not a very nice person or tolerant of others, at least twice she has said to HMs never to speak to her again, who does she think she is.

I wish she was gone.

No, not really. She just had a bit of a grumble about the way people in the house don't listen, so it leads to things going wrong, like the nut-roast/stuffing confusion.

That's true, but Carole's earned the respect of the housemates and she's earned her place as the person who 'controls' the kitchen, over the weeks. All the house are in agreement that particular HMs have certain jobs/roles. I know she can be strict in there at times, but if you notice, she's only strict when people do things wrong (Gerry tries to clean the bath with the toilet cleaner) or use too much of the food rations. It's for their own good alot of the time, but most of them are too spoilt to even listen or care, they just start arguing back claiming to be responsible adults, when if they were, she wouldn't have to keep going on at them. I remember Nicky spending alot of time in the kitchen, and Carole stayed out of her way because Nicky knew what she was doing, presumably.

Carole argued with Nicky for the kitchen. Its sad cos loads of what happened didnt even make the highlgihts, teh portrayed Carole as nice again

They had arguments in and around the kitchen, as people do, but Nicky claimed her role in the kitchen, despite anything Carole said. Carole just tries to maintain a bit of order.

By the way, I'm not suggesting her 'kitchen police' thing is entirely necessary, if it goes over top, I'm just saying it doesn't really go over the top that much, especially if someone has a valid case to be there, rather than just for the sake of rebelling against Carole.

It's clearly causing tension, though.

It was a mistake, albeit a silly one but judging from the live feed I felt that Carole did labour the point and overreacted to just a genuine mistake.

I'm getting sick of Carole now, she's just a nagging voice in the background all of the time. She needs to stop trying mother people and just chill out a bit.
