DIZZY Sam and Amanda were branded BRATS by fellow students at their university, The Sun can reveal.
The Marchant twins, who are favourites to win, have acted sweet and innocent in the house.
But their mother had to PLEAD with bosses at Manchester Metropolitan University not to boot them out of their halls of residence after complaints about their behaviour.
The 19-year-old twins, who are both studying social work, were given a stay at execution in the university’s Broomhurst Hall after mum Janet’s intervention in April this year.
But their behaviour has been blasted by fellow student Chris Frost, 19, who witnessed the terrible twosome’s debauchery at first hand.
Chris, whose former girlfriend also lived in Broomhurst Hall, said: “They were so inconsiderate. They were brats. The twins weren’t popular and everyone complained about them.
“They were forever creating mayhem and keeping everyone awake.
“They would get plastered and bring boys back. They would run up and down the corridors screaming. They didn’t care that other people had to work the next day.”
Chris, a student at nearby Manchester University, continued: “The twins were given countless warnings.
“Everyone wanted them gone.
“I was told the head of the halls tried to chuck them out but their mother came to their rescue and they were allowed to go back.”
On Friday, The Sun revealed police and the local council had taken action against the twins for noisy behaviour at their home in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs.
The twins were ordered to turn down their music and stop their abusive language and gestures to neighbours.
