Default Comedy Stand Up Shows

Which comedians have you seen live? What did you think of them and would you recommend them?

I have seen Little Britain Live, it was brillaint! and I was right up front, second row from the front.

I'm going to see Ardal O'Hanlan on 3rd of Sept, and Jimmy Carr on Sept 20th

A friend of mine went to see Dara O'Brian, and she LOVED it, said it was absolutely hilarious.

Good God, I have seen loads.

Ann, this is for you

Stewart Lee and his Joe Pasquale joke.

Don't expect a laugh a second with Lee, but it is brilliantly crafted stuff.

A bit more Stewart Lee. Saw this as part of his show he did. There were less than 50 of us there and we were all in tears.

I am quite lucky that very near where I work i have a comedy club that runs up stairs at a local pub of mine. http://www.brcomedy.com/ it is tiny with a capacity of only 90 people but it punches well above it's weight. they have had Alan Carr, Stewart Lee, Reginald D. Hunter, Richard Herring, Rob Rouse, Howard Read, Jason Manford, Sarah Kendall, We Are Klang, Russell Howard, Michael McIntyre and Rob Dearing to name bet a few there. Most of these name could easily sell out a jonglers size club. so fair play to them for supporting the small guy.

In Leicester we all so have the longest running and second largest (to Edinburgh) comedy festival in the UK http://www.comedy-festival.co.uk/ So I am pretty sorted on the comedy front.

My favourites are Ricky Gervais, Jack Dee, Jimmy Carr and Alan Carr. Hopefully seeing Jimmy Carr in November when he comes to Oxford.

"Chubby Brown." I would rather bite my own testicles off than sit through a nano second of his ****.
