I'm starting to dislike the lack of Big Brother.

I don't see this as being big brother, given the lack of the voice of God booming out, controlling the entire experience, a voice with no face telling them what they must do, and giving rules etc.

I always felt it was the most important part of Big Brother... and so do most countries...

What do people think of the way it's done in the US?

I just don't think it's right, I think it actually deducts from the whole No Contact idea, and of course, the idea of the Faceless Big Brother that controls and sees all.

I watched the first hour programme yesterday but gave up after that. If it runs live I'll probably watch it, is it running on a semi live feed? I couldn't sit in front of the telly for about 6 hours catching up on something I'm not really that bothered about. It must be a safe show to put out over here though because I can't see them ever showing a dutch BB or any ones from Europe, even though thats were it all started from. Mind you the subtitles would be a problem. Apart from other things that Cameron wouldn't approve of without a wedding ring.

To be honest i'm really enjoying UsBB but only becuase i am not watching it as Big Brother but just a cheesy American TV Reality Show x

Just had another looksee at it. On now in fact. I am rapidly moving into the camp of "I LOATH it" Those one toned drawling zombi like robitic humanoid stero type voices are just driving me clean up the wall. By.By. Mmerican pie.....

Stu I agree completely. I am really enjoying BBUSA, but you can only do this if you do not try and compare it to our Big Brother because it is a completely different show.

The differences are so intergral, the lack of audience voting, the discussions of strategy and nominations etc, that to try and compare them is just not valid.

I'm watching it for what it is and really enjoying it. I'm hooked already and will definitely be following it.
