This year I prefer BB US 8 to BB UK 8. Overall, I like both but they're like two different shows.

Both are fantastic shows but regarding this season, Big Brother 8 US hands down is better than Big Brother 8 UK.

They're completely different so it's hard to compare, but I personally prefer BBUSA because it makes you think more. Like with BBUK it's just watching people live in a house, in BBUS there's strategy and a real sense of competition which I love.

this year. definitely prefer BB USA. I know that people form the UK look down on it, buyt if yu give it a chance, you'll realise that BB US is a very different style BB that you can enjoy immensely if you get into it! Normally I prefer BB UK, but this year, I never liked how the public voted the housemates out, so it's been dissapointing for me!

It is very difficult. Personally I have thought that UK had better people and I just love the way that big brother interacts with housemates in the diary room, so in that regard I like BBUK. However BBUSA is extremely exciting and I usually prefer the twists in the US. This year they got an amazing cast, even if I can't stand hardly any of them and those who I could will all have been evicted by the time Thursday is over. BBUK only had one interesting twist with the fake housemate thing. Everything has really fallen apart this year, but at least I like people there. With that said, I think this year goes to BBUSA.

Looking in years past.

BBUK1 vs BBUSA1: UK. Nothing went right the first season of BBUSA.

BBUk2 vs BBUSA2: USA. Introduction of the new rules.

BBUK3 vs BBUSA3: UK. Both were very good, but I preferred UK.

BBUK4 vs BBUSA4: The wost UK version and the second worst American one. USA gets it because of the x factor twist and Jun going to the VMAs and houseguest's reaction.

BBUK5 vs BBUSA5: The second best from both. Project DNA in the US and evil Big Brother in the UK. I am going to go with the UK, but both were great.

BBUK6 vs BBUSA6: USA's best ever (Although in the end I may and look back and say that BB8 was the best, after I am done hating everyone in the house) and the UK's third best. USA wins. Sov or friendship. Most exciting season ever and was the most cutthroat until this season.

BBUK7 vs BBUSA7: Second best Big Brother in the UK and third worst in the USA. Easily goes to the UK, all stars should never happen.

I feel like doing a BBUK vs BBUS vs BBAU:

2000 - UK, there was no Australia. The US version was horrid.
2001 - US, new rules, great housemates
2002 - Australia, great housemates and twists
2003 - Australia, the only good one that year, and it was amazing
2004 - UK, by far the greatest Big Brother ever
2005 - UK, great housemates, great tasks, great twists, reat house
2006 - UK, at this point Australia can't do anything right and I hated All-Stars
2007 - US, so many people to hate

I think that the Australian one only triumphed in 2003.

I love BBUS this year. So much drama and back stabbing. BBUK is stale and boring. I think for a good BB9 UK we need to borrow some ideas from the US version and encourage game playing.

Well the Big Brother Africa house just adopted Head of Household mixed with the public vote. Perhaps that needs to be set in place to prevent massive 6 person eviction sizes and such like that and also it would give a chance for more interesting people to remain on the show.

Third best series of Big Brother ever, only after Big Brother UK 2004 and Big Brother UK 2005 (BB5 and BB6 UK, respectively).

Most years, BBUS completely pales in comparison to BBUK, but this year is an exception.

As an American who watches both...I prefer BBUK just because that is what BB was founded on - the public interaction.

BBUSA is very similar to our Survivor but just held in a house. I do think this year they've gotten some great HouseGuests (besides Dick who I despise) but I will always love the public voting more!

Umm Evel Dick is probably one of the biggest characters in Reality Television History.
