Default Sutton to leave Hollyoaks

The star, who plays gay hunk John Paul, loves filming the teen soap but wants to get into the movie business.

"I'm enjoying it - I've got another year left and then I'm going to leave," he told TV Biz.

The 23-year-old plans to shake off his Hollyoaks image by taking on new, darker roles.

"I'd like to star in something really dark and nasty – maybe as a psycho killer," he said.

"I did Trial and Retribution and played a murderer in that so anything along those lines would be cool."

And James has another reason for going to Hollywood – to see if he can land a role opposite stunning actress Angelina Jolie.

He added: "Angelina would be a joy because she’s got nice big lips."
