Channel 4's Big Brother made a big deal of the fact that this year, for the first time, viewers could vote through the website thanks to a new partnership with micro-payments service BT Click & Buy. But show producers Endemol and C4 have been slightly less bullish about the number of votes they got through the new service. With votes down overall from 22.7 million last year to just 12.8 million for winner Cameron and his fellow bores this time around, the online voting story was even more tragic. Only 6,247 votes were cast online throughout the series' nine-week run, a measly 0.01% of the total.
