This year, BB US has been better. The formats are completely different in each version.
In BB US, each week, the housemates compete in a Head of Household (HOH in short) competition. Whoever wins HOH is immune from eviction that week, gets their own bedroom, and must nominate two housemates for eviction. After the nominations, later in the week is the Power of Veto (PoV in short) competition, where the HOH, the two nominees, and three other randomly selected housemates compete for the PoV. Whoever wins it has the power to take one of the nominees of the "chopping block" (ie; save them from nomination), and if a nominee wins it they can save themself. Whoever holds the PoV is also immune from eviction for that week. If the PoV is used, the HOH must nominate another person to replace the nominee who has been saved. All of this happens in the PoV ceremony. The two housemates still nominated after the PoV ceremony then face eviction. On the live show, the housemates vote to evict one of the nominees. The HOH and the nominees aren't allowed to vote. The housemate who receives the most votes gets evicted. In the case of a tie, the HOH must break the tie and choose to evict one of the nominees. The evictee leaves, and after is the next HOH competition. That's basically how a week goes by in BBUS. There is also a food competition every week, anyone who loses the food comp is on slop for the week. When it's down to the final 9 housemates, every evictee goes to a sequestor house, until only two housemates are left. The evictees in the sequestor house are the jury. The jury decide which of the two finalists wins, by casting a vote each in the live finale. And that's basically it, I've explained it as best I can. The reason BBUS is so good is because we see more strategy and game-playing, whereas in BBUK, the public hate gameplayers and they're voted out. There is no public vote to decide who goes in BBUS. |

It's not confusing, maybe I didn't explain it well, but if you watched a week's worth of episodes it will be easier to understand.

bbus is halarious...its properly like someones house...and when they are evicted tehre is no crowd, they just walk out of the front door and speak to some woman that has no exprerssion in her voice and is not into it at all...its haliriously bad...watch this, you will get an idea who is best, bbaus is like bbuk in the old days and bbuk is has the most atmosphere and exitement i think...
