Twins are best-loved HMs ever

THE twins are the most popular housemates EVER – with more than £5million wagered on them winning the show.

Dippy Sam and Amanda, 19, are last-gasp red-hot 1/6 favourites to be crowned champions tomorrow night — and bookies are bracing themselves for massive losses.

At the start of the show the blonde duo were given long odds of 20/1 — and until recently, experts believed Brian was going to walk it.

But now the pair — who are being treated as a single housemate by BB and so are both eligible to win — have beaten last year’s record of £4.75million slapped on winner Pete Bennett.

Bookies stand to lose a whopping £7.5million if Samanda win.

Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg said last night: “The twins will go down in BB history.

They’ve managed to steer clear of all the bitching and back-stabbing which has made them firm favourites amongst the punters. If they’re crowned queens of BB their army of fans will only increase.

“The only people they won’t be popular with are the bookies — we stand to take a hammering.”

He continued: “We’re bracing ourselves for the darkest day in reality TV history. If the twins win it’ll be the worst result since BB began.”

The bookie added that the series had been a disaster for bookies, as punters had come up trumps against them at almost every single eviction night due to predictable votes.

Mr Weinberg said: “It has been a three-month tale of woe for bookies.” Meanwhile, bets are still pouring in on what the housemates will do after the show.

Mr Weinberg said: “They will try to cash in on their 15 minutes of fame — but with varying degrees of success.”
