Samanda have attracted over £5 million-worth of bets industry-wide, beating the previous best of £4.75 million struck to last year's winner Pete Bennett.

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: "The twins will go down in BB history.

"They've managed to steer clear of all the bitching and back stabbing which has made them firm favourites amongst punters.

"If they're crowned queens of BB their army of fans will only increase.

"The only people they won't be popular with is the bookies. We stand to take a hammering if they pocket the £100,000 winner's cheque."
