I read a thread entry yesterday from someone who was talking about Dan from BB and a possible homophobic incident.
Then on last night's Celeb Kitchen there was a very uneasy section of the show with Jim Davidson being blatantly rude to Brian Dowling on national TV. Because it was edited television it was difficult to analyse and then of course the last shot of the show was Jim admitting that he and Brian may of been placed in the show together because Jim has such strong homophobic feelings. Remembering Brian well from BB, he'll tolerate Jim's behaviour for a while and then Brian will kick off and he'll show Jim up for the pathetic, ignorant tosser that he is. ![]() My concern though is; Are homophobic taunts right for prime time television and what sort of message are we sending out by doing this? |

I watched this and it was very awkward and uncomfortable. Brian dealt with it well though and I felt Jim was going out of his way to make Brian feel intimidated, but Brina is bigger then that.

Totally agree but even Jim said it looked like a TV set up and I felt uneasy with that whole idea of using homophobia as audience manipulation
