ATOMIC KITTEN look like the cool cats who got the cream after signing up for a £500,000 campaign to promote milk. The sexy pop stars have all "sprouted'' milk moustaches for the occasion.

They are being joined in singing the praises of the white stuff by clean-living Big Brother winner Cameron Stout .

The campaign follows the success of a similar scheme in the US, backed by singer Britney Spears and actress Angelina Jolie.

Now Kittens Liz McLarnon, Jenny Frost and Natasha Hamilton say they are delighted to highlight their favourite unsung beauty treatment. Liz said: 'It's really important for children to start making the right choices about what to put into their body from an early age. Girls need to watch their calcium intake to ensure they develop strong, healthy bones -you won't be able to follow our dance moves if you don't.'' Cleanliving Cameron, from Orkney, has always preferred milk to alcohol.

The campaign aims to promote the message that milk is the healthy alternative to sweet drinks and that semi-skimmed milk is 98 per cent fat-free. Atomic Kitten also have another serious motive for the campaign -all profits made will go to raise cash for Robin Brook, a young girl battling against cancer.
