Interesting thread.
But that has to be the biggest load of b******s I've heard in a while. Firstly, whoever said it (if indeed anyone did say it - you never know what goes on in the press these days) is far from a Muslim, or someone of any religion. Someone who knew anything about the faith would not agree with that type of mentality at all.
And, why target just Madonna and Britney anyway, if such a thing is going to be said? If they're to be criticised, a lot of the Western culture might as well be questioned as a result. That's why I find this whole story a bit far-fetched. Madonna/Britney are entitled to do what they want - entertain in the way they wish - after all...free world and all that. Besides, they both have children and seem to be loving mothers - whilst Madonna has a full family. It'd be better to applaud that instead, really. Especially considering those two aren't in the same bracket as plenty of other girls out there who could be referred to in the same way.
Anyone who wants to follow any faith will need to have the willpower strong enough not to fall into temptation from outside influences. Plenty of people have done it nobly and well in the past, and plenty will continue to in the future.
Anyway, the Gaza Strip itself has plenty of horrific attacks done to its people by Jews and Israel as a whole, whereas that article shows just one biased viewpoint. I prefer to have an overall knowledge of situations rather than base my opinions on a story like this or whatever alone.
