BIG BROTHER TWINS HOMECOMING PARTY AT CHICAGOS

Samantha and Amanda, the twins from Big Brother 8, will be appearing live at Chicago Rock Cafe, Hanley on Friday 14th September for their official home coming party.

The pair from Knutton near Hanley will perform, for the first time, their cover version to the 1997 track Barbie Girl originally performed by Danish Group Aqua, which they hope to release later this year. The giggly twins, nicknamed ‘Samanda’ will arrive from 10pm on the night and perform live in front of the Chicago Rock Cafe crowd which is expected to be a complete sell-out with tickets already selling fast.

Both Sam and Amanda will then take part in a questions and answers session hosted by resident DJ Colin followed by meet and greets – a chance for fans to have their photos taken with the pair and get their autograph.

Since the announcement was made, management at the venue have been inundated with calls and messages from fans, people claiming to be ex boyfriends and friends all wanting to meet the girls. General manager Nicky Scarrett has been working with Sam and Amanda’s agent to ensure this is the biggest and best party the girls could imagine, “Everyone in Hanley and the surrounding towns are so excited about the night and can’t wait to see the girls after watching them for over 90 days on Big Brother. We have arranged for staff to be dressed in either Ken or Barbie outfits and will make sure there is plenty of pink to keep both Sam and Amanda happy all night.

“All of our staff are massive fans of the twins and when they found out Chicago Rock Cafe would host their official home coming, they were so excited. They seem like such lovely girls and we are all looking forward to seeing what they are like in real life.”
