Virgin One will be replacing FTN on Freeview when it launches on the 1st of October.

Just thought you might be interested

Apparently they will be keeping some of FTN's programming

I'm so so gutted ABC1 has gone, literally it was the channel I watched. It had all the best shows on, Hope and Faith, 8 Simple Rules, Home Improvement, Less than Perfect, Ellen and Rodeney!

I was so gutted when I typed in the channel number and it said it was not available and then I tried to find it on the TV Guide and it wasn't there!!

Stupid sky!! We pay so much bloody money for that and get nothing back!!!

I hope you're all aware that it's the owners of ABC1 that decided to close the channel...

"In September 2007, ABC1 ceased transmission on all UK television platforms (Freeview, satellite and cable)."

I used to watch it pretty often. I couldn't believe it had gone... I hope some other channel replaces it with those shows on it.

it was good when it first launched but after a while all it was was repeats and it just got boring. If they had launched some new shows on it maybe it could have been a success.
