Default Emmerdale Weekly Previews!

Monday 8 October 2007 7:00pm - 7:30pm on ITV1.

Seeing a dejected Debbie (Charley Webb) shutting up the garage early, Eli (Joseph Gilgun) talks her into going for a drink at the Woolpack. However when Lisa (Jane Cox) broaches the subject of Sarah (Amber Child-Cavill), Debbie turns on her heels and storms out, followed by Eli. Back at Tug Ghyll a drink leads to a kiss which leads to the bedroom. Later Eli seizes his chance, and whilst Debbie's sleeping, leaves the cottage armed with the mobile and laptop containing the photo of his and Kelly's (Adele Silva) illicit kiss. Will this put an end to Kelly's fears?

Later the girls gather for Kelly's hen night at the Woolpack. With Kelly's express wishes ignored, Viv (Deena Payne) unveils the strippers for the night. Playing to open mouths all round, Bob (Tony Audenshaw), Jamie (Alex Carter) and Marlon (Mark Charnock) strut their stuff. Can the Emmerdale Chippendales take Kelly's mind off her worries?

Meanwhile Carrie (Linda Lusardi) and Jimmy (Nick Miles) are awkward with each other after their kiss. Paying him a visit, Carrie apologises and Jimmy reassures her that all is well and their friendship intact but does Carrie want more?

***Programme Information for the rest of the week follows***

Tuesday 9 October 7pm

As Kelly (Adele Silva) prepares for her wedding, Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) hears a ringing phone in Kelly's bag and, unaware that it's Debbie's (Charley Webb), answers it. Hearing Debbie launch into a tirade unaware of who's on the other end, Scarlett is inadvertently alerted to the existence of the photo of Kelly and Eli (Joseph Gilgun). When Carl (Tom Lister) sees the photo he alerts a devastated Jimmy (Nick Miles). Beside herself, Kelly tries to reason with Jimmy that it was a mistake and meant nothing. With Jimmy still smarting and Kelly in tears, will the unhappy couple make it down the aisle?

Meanwhile Debbie continues to ostracise herself from the rest of the village and even manages to disgust friend Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) when she reveals the reason why Eli stole her phone and laptop. Is Debbie heading for a lonely future?

Elsewhere, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) continues in her quest to push Emily (Kate McGregor) and the Bishop (Peter Cartwright) together. Can the Bishop replace Ashley (John Middleton) in Emily's affections?

Wednesday 10 October 7pm

Jimmy (Nick Miles) apologises to both Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) and Carrie (Linda Lusardi) for bawling them out over yesterday's events. Scarlett is hopeful that things will get back to normal for all of them. However, when Carrie later takes receipt of an important letter, her actions ultimately hold the key to the future happiness of Jimmy and Kelly (Adele Silva). Will she do the right thing?

Meanwhile Lisa (Jane Cox) sees Debbie (Charley Webb) looking down and talks her into having lunch at the Dingles where she'll be looking after Sarah (Amber Child-Cavill). Awkward at first, Debbie starts to relax around her daughter. Could Debbie be about to discover her inner-parent?

Elsewhere Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is surprised when his policeman cousin Ross (Samuel Anderson) arrives in the village looking for a place to stay for a few days. Eager to take down the particulars of the ladies of the village, will this romeo get lucky and cop off during his visit?

Thursday 11 October 7pm

Jo (Roxanne Pallett) is left to look after Sarah (Amber Child-Cavill) once again whilst Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) is busy on the farm. However, when she's called to see a man about a goat, Jo calls on the babysitting services of Lisa (Jane Cox) once again. Eager to move things forward, Lisa takes Sarah to visit Debbie (Charley Webb) at the garage, a gesture which doesn’t go down too well with the reluctant mum. Is Lisa fighting a losing battle?

Over at the Woolpack, Jack (Clive Hornby) is disturbed when he sees Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) speaking with John the drayman (Steven Murphy), the faux object of her affections. Shocked to hear from Bob (Tony Audenshaw) that John is gay, Jack demands to know what's going on. Forced to admit she lied, is the game up for Diane?

Also as Carrie (Linda Lusardi) spends more time with Jimmy (Nick Miles), will she risk upheaval in her home life to pursue him once more?

Friday 12 October 7pm

Back in the village, Billy (David Crellin) settles in, moving back to Edna's (Shirley Stelfox) and taking a job back at the garage. However his presence unnerves Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and when she tearfully heads home from the pub, Billy follows, eager to sort things out. As they head for the back of the village hall, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) secretly follows and is shocked to hear them discuss their relationship, Diane urging Billy they have to move on. When confronted, Billy tries to fob Victoria off with the line that they're just friends, but Victoria isn't to be fooled. Is Victoria about to bring Jack's world crashing down around him?

Elsewhere, Gray (Christopher Villiers) surprises Perdy (Georgia Slowe) when he arranges for a surrogacy agency rep to visit them at home. However Perdy is somewhat overwhelmed by his urgency to move things on. Is it too much too soon?

Meanwhile Debbie (Charley Webb) is insistent to Lisa (Jane Cox) that she's standing by her decision to give Sarah (Amber Child-Cavill) up. Is the subject finally closed or can Debbie be convinced otherwise?

Monday 15 October 2007 7:00pm - 7:30pm on ITV1.

Reeling from the news of Diane’s (Elizabeth Estensen) affair, Jack (Clive Hornby) waits at Annie’s Cottage for her return from a shopping trip. Meanwhile, Victoria sees Billy (David Crellin) outside Hope’s café and warns him that he’ll get his comeuppance. Worried by her tone, Billy tries to call Diane but her phone is engaged. Diane is on the phone to Val (Charlie Hardwick) who, against her instincts, tips Diane off that Jack knows Billy is the other man.

Despite Val’s warning, Diane decides to face the music and rushes home to try and rescue her marriage. She finds Jack waiting for her at the kitchen table. He calmly asks her who she has been sleeping with behind his back. She denies sleeping with anyone and Jack is incredulous that Diane continues to lie. Jack bombards her with questions about her affair with Billy. Diane begs for forgiveness. Jack tells her that she’s killed their relationship and declares the marriage over as there’s a knock at the door….

Elsewhere, Gray (Christopher Villiers) is annoyed when Katie (Sammy Winward) asks him how Perdy (Georgia Slowe) is coping. He confronts Perdy about confiding in Katie instead of him. Perdy admits she’s struggling to trust him after what happened with Rosemary. Will Perdy ever be able to trust Gray again?

Tuesday 16 October 7pm

After hearing from Billy (David Crellin) that Jack (Clive Hornby) was responsible for Sarah’s death, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) seeks out her mother’s former lover Richie Carter (Glenn Lamont), begging him for the truth about the barn fire. When she asks him point blank if Jack was responsible for her death, Victoria interprets his silence as confirmation of her fears.

Later, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Jack return to Annie’s Cottage and are shocked to see Victoria dousing the house with petrol. Holding up a lighter, Victoria demands Jack admit to killing Sarah. Knowing he can’t hide the truth any longer, Andy confesses he started the fire that killed Sarah. Stunned by the revelation, Victoria races upstairs and trips, gashing her head on the banister before locking herself in her bedroom. Jack breaks down the door. Victoria has passed out and is bleeding badly. Andy tends to Victoria, as Jack goes to the bathroom to get a damp cloth. As he turns on the hot water tap, the boiler pilot light ignites petrol fumes creating a fireball which blows out the cottage windows. The fireball shoots up the staircase cutting Jack off from Andy and Victoria. As the fire takes hold the Sugdens fight to save their lives…

Elsewhere, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tricks Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) into meeting a potential new client at a strip club so she can spend time with David (Matthew Wolfenden). Dressed to the nines she volunteers to take Jasmine’s place in the pub quiz. At the quiz the women’s team get suspicious when Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is quick to answer every question and is rumbled when she drunkenly answers before a question is read. She’s overheard and the girls team gets disqualified for cheating. There's more bad news when the coach taking everybody home breaks down and everyone is forced to check into the hotel. Nicola seizes the opportunity and invites David back to her hotel room. Will David succumb to her charms or stay loyal to Jasmine?

Wednesday 17 October 7pm

The villagers return from the pub quiz to see the devastation of the fire. Meanwhile, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) confides to Jo (Roxanne Pallett) that if he had confessed to starting the barn fire years ago then none of this would have happened. Worried by what could happen to Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) he tells her it’s time he told the truth. As the police turn up to question the survivors will Andy finally admit responsibility for Sarah’s death?

After hearing about the fire on the radio Lexi (Sally Oliver) returns to the village. Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) is thrilled to see Lexi has returned. Carrie (Linda Lusardi) is relieved to see her as well and promises Lexi she wants to make amends. Is Carrie prepared to take the next step and tell Scarlett the truth?

Elsewhere, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tries to blame the mix up over the cleaning booking on a rival company. Determined not to let Nicola get one-up on her Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) says she should thank them, as it resulted in her getting the scoop on the fire. Later, Nicola taunts her about her night with David (Matthew Wolfenden). Will Jasmine rise to the bait?

Thursday 18 October 7pm

Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) is questioned about the fire and shocked when the police ask him if he started it. At the same time Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) is interrogated. She tells the police that Andy didn’t want to lie about the fire and wanted her to get blamed for it. Will Victoria try to pass the blame on to Andy as retribution for her mother’s murder?

Elsewhere, Edna (Shirley Stelfox) is shocked when her estranged sister Lily (Anne Charleston) turns up on her doorstep. Lily explains she’s in Europe visiting Peter and wanted to drop by, but senses that something is bothering Edna. She explains what happened with Diane, Billy and Jack and confides she thinks Billy may have started the fire at the Sugdens and feels guilty for turning Billy away in his hour of need.

Meanwhile, Katie (Sammy Winward) is feeling down after getting her decree absolute. Chas (Lucy Pargeter) tries to perk her up insisting they go out on the pull to celebrate. Katie agrees that it’s time for her to move on. Chas gets the impression that Katie already has her eye on someone and asks her about her mystery crush. Will Katie come clean about her feelings for Gray (Christopher Villiers)?

Friday 19 October 7pm

With Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Victoria’s (Isabel Hodgins) futures still hanging in the balance, the fire continues to plague the Sugden household. Will village life ever be the same again?

Elsewhere, Perdy (Georgia Slowe) argues with Gray (Christopher Villiers) that moving to America would speed up their surrogacy application but he remains non-committal. Later, Matthew (Matt Healy) tries to convince Perdy to leave Gray and tells her a baby won’t solve her marital difficulties. Perdy insists to Matthew that she’s staying with Gray and they’re moving to America. Matthew is stunned. After seeing Perdy and Matthew together, will Gray reconsider a move to the US?

Katie (Sammy Winward) is moved when Gray (Christopher Villiers) confesses that he's uneasy about going to America to find a surrogate. After doing some internet research she stuns Chas (Lucy Pargeter) by revealing she's considering offering to be their surrogate herself. Despite her friend's concern, Katie meets Gray and makes her pledge. He is thrilled and tries to keep his emotions in check by saying they must agree to talk things over with Perdy (Georgia Slowe) first of all. But is Katie's mind already made up?

Meanwhile, as Viv (Deena Payne) and the other villagers start gossiping about the after effects of the Sugden fire, the Sugdens themselves begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives. Will hope spring from the ashes of despair?

Elsewhere, David's (Matthew Wolfenden) plans with Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) are scuppered by an invalid Pollard (Chris Chittell). David eventually heads out and a friendless Pollard is surprised to find he can walk again. However, when Val (Charlie Hardwick) turns up he reverts back to his wheelchair and allows her to pamper him. Is love in the air for the warring ex-beaus?

***Programme Information for the rest of the week follows***

Monday 22 October 7pm

Katie (Sammy Winward) sits down with Perdy (Georgia Slowe) and Gray (Christopher Villiers) and again offers to be a surrogate mother. After Perdy reacts badly, Katie leaves and worries she's made a mistake. However, Gray talks Perdy round and they agree to give Katie their approval. Chas (Lucy Pargeter) again protests to Katie that her judgement is flawed but Katie retorts even more fiercely than before. Is Katie becoming blinded by her crush on Gray?

Elsewhere, Zak (Steve Halliwell) is confused when Sam (James Hooton) embarks on a sudden moneymaking scheme. He eventually reveals that he's saving for a house of his own, an idea which baffles Zak and Lisa (Jane Cox). Sam faces a setback when he's refused a council house and so asks Pollard (Chris Chittell) for a helping hand. Will Pollard fight the Dingles to help Sam achieve his dream home?

Also, with Pollard still confined to a wheelchair, Val (Charlie Hardwick) is asked by David (Matthew Wolfenden) to help his dad attend a business meeting. Val is pleased to have attended when it turns out his client is a voluptuous woman and the green eyed monster takes over. Val sidelines Pollard by taking full control of the meeting and after seeing the client out of the door, Val spies Pollard getting out of his wheelchair. How will Val get her revenge?

Tuesday 23 October 7pm

Val (Charlie Hardwick) tempts Pollard (Chris Chittell) to come on a countryside picnic so they can be properly reacquainted. A randy Pollard wastes no time in trying to force the issue when they're alone together but Val manages to escape with his mobile phone, explaining that she's going to get champagne. When Val drives off, Pollard is rumbled and forced to walk home. Back in the village, Val begins to reprimand Pollard, but he argues that his lies were a ruse to spend more time with her. Val softens and the warring couple decide to give it another go. But can the armistice last?

Meanwhile, Zak (Steve Halliwell) takes matters into his own hands and intimidates Pollard, forcing him to retract his offer to help Sam (James Hooton). A clueless Sam delights in telling Zak and Lisa (Jane Cox) that his "friend" Pollard is helping him out, but he's crushed when Pollard terminates the deal. Sam smells a rat and finally Zak admits he threatened Pollard to stop him offering assistance. A furious Sam tells his dad that nothing will stop him leaving now, but can the single father stand alone?

Also, when Perdy (Georgia Slowe) arranges a meeting with a surrogacy rep, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) begs Katie (Sammy Winward) to back out before it's too late. However, Katie proceeds with the appointment and the volume of information and responsibility does nothing to shake her conviction. Has she made the right choice?

Wednesday 24 October 7pm

Sam (James Hooton) turns to Carl (Tom Lister) and asks to rent Dale View but Carl demands that Sam secure adequate financial backing before he agrees. Sam returns to Pollard (Chris Chittell) and convinces him to be guarantor on the property. Later, a guilty Zak (Steve Halliwell) apologises to Sam, only for Lisa (Jane Cox) to erupt and insist that Sam stays put. Zak is stunned by her outburst and convinces her to give Sam their blessing. How will the Dingles cope as Sam settles into an independent life?

Meanwhile, David (Matthew Wolfenden) is horrified to discover that his dad is back with Val (Charlie Hardwick). After Pollard defends Val to his son, she warns him that David will need to be controlled if their relationship is to succeed. On Val's suggestion, Pollard tells David that he'll remove him from his life if he tries to meddle in his relationship this time around. As word spreads in the village about their reconciliation, Pollard decides that the time is right to take Val on a mini-break.

Elsewhere, Ross' (Samuel Anderson) girlfriend Kirsty (Ruth Westley) comes to visit and Marlon (Mark Charnock) prays that they can make things work. He takes Donna (Verity Rushworth) out to give Ross some space and Donna admits she doesn't like Kirsty. When Ross breaks up with Kirsty, Donna abandons Marlon to comfort her friend. What will Marlon think of Donna and Ross' growing closeness?

Thursday 25 October 7pm

Sam (James Hooton) decides to have a house-warming party at Dale View and wastes no time in inviting family, friends and even acquaintances. Emily (Kate McGregor) worries when she discovers that Sam has gone beyond his budget and sneaks some money into his savings tin from her own pocket. As the party gets going, Lily (Anne Charleston) and Doug (Duncan Preston) take things too far and a window is smashed. When Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Lisa (Jane Cox) arrive they realise Sam is out of his depth, but Lisa stands her ground when Sam begs them to let him move back home. Is she finally ready to let go?

Elsewhere, Marlon (Mark Charnock) is frustrated by his ongoing bedroom famine with Donna (Verity Rushworth) but unintentionally shares his tales of sexual frustration with the Woolpack regulars. At Sam's party, Marlon is desperate to leave early with Donna, but she is distracted when a lonely Ross (Samuel Anderson) arrives. A stray comment from Shadrach (Andy Devine) leads Donna to suspect Marlon's indiscretion and she banishes him to the spare room. Is Marlon back to square one in his marriage?

Also, Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) delights in seeing her fire article in the Hotten Courier and looks forward to the day when she can quit working for De Souza. Later, when David (Matthew Wolfenden) prepares to leave to meet Jasmine at Sam's party, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) turns on the waterworks, forcing him to stay and comfort her. Jasmine is left waiting and rails at David for pandering to Nicola. But can she do anything about Nicola's relentless pursuit of her boyfriend?

Friday 26 October 7pm

Marlon (Mark Charnock) apologises to Donna (Verity Rushworth) and she agrees to let him back into the bedroom. Not wanting to lose his chance, Marlon prepares a romantic meal for them, but Donna comes home late with Ross (Samuel Anderson) and the food goes cold. Outside, Donna is clueless when she drunkenly falls into Ross' arms and doesn't react when he fixes her with a passionate stare. They head back into Tall Trees and Donna tries to make amends with Marlon. However, he discovers that she has been discussing their marriage with Ross and another argument brings the evening to a close.

Elsewhere, David (Matthew Wolfenden) agrees to accompany Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) to Debbie's (Charley Webb) 18th Birthday Party after abandoning her the previous night. When Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) finds out, she demands that David go with her to a business meeting before spending the afternoon plying him with alcohol. He turns up late and dishevelled to the party and is met with mockery from Jasmine and Debbie. Will David ever wise up to Nicola's scheming?

Also, Sam (James Hooton) gives Emily (Kate McGregor) her money back after deciding to pay for the broken window himself. But while he's at work Lisa (Jane Cox) and Zak (Steve Halliwell) lend a helping hand and mend it themselves. Sam returns and insists that he'll pay Lisa for her time and ends up selling his chickens to raise the cash. How long will Sam be able to stretch himself financially?
