Default Am I Depressed?

Ok, for ages Ive just burst out crying at little silly things. My mum came in and turned the tv over and I went up the stairs and gret, and then I couldnt get my phone to stwitch on so i just threw it and started to cry. I know what your thinking that IM a spoilt brat, but Im really not. Also, I used to be dead friendly and have loads of conversations but now, I had when people talk to me. I hate having to talk to anyone and spend most of my time in my room, and dont even talk to my family unless I have to. Does that make me depressed? Please Help

It's hard to say but if you think you might be I'd deal with it know before it gets worse. Try and talk to somebody about how you are feeling. I know you might have some friends on here but there is only so much people can do through an Internet connection.

The best thing to do is go and talk to your Doctor.

Yes it's hard to tell you, buy my sister did the same, and she's a spoilt girl lol !
And finally she was in the same situation because her "boyfriend" (she's 15) dumped her, she was depressed.

Sometimes, I don't want to talk to anyone, even to my girlfriend or you are quickly upset, you are touchy thing like me, one thing can upset you for nothing at all. But you can be friendly and stuff....you can't stand any wrong notes !

Or it's your character or it's just a moment in your life, it will go better for sure.

It could just be your age, your hormones could be all over the place.

Awww *hug* for you Billy, I know what you're going through cos I get down moments like that even at my age! I've found it helpful lately to write my feelings in a journal when I've been really low, maybe you could try the same thing as it helps work out what's upsetting you.

I used to avoid my family a lot when I was around your age as they got to me at times, always having a go at me for no reason and mocking everything I did. Like I'd spend whole Sundays in my room just so they wouldn't keep on at me and because I had nowhere else to go to get away from them. My friends hardly invited me out with them and I got fed up listening to everyone talking about what they'd done together while I got left out. I don't know whether you feel the same about your friends, but being alone was the one place I felt comfortable at your age. Once I met my bloke then I had better things to do and was often out with him so I didn't have to endure things so much, so hopefully things will change for you too.

Good luck, you can U2U or MSN me whenever things get bad cos I know you think a lot of me.

Nicola

I can actually completely empathise with how you feel. To be honest, as has been mentioned, a lot of it is to do with your age at the moment and all the difficulties that seem to come at once. But it just seems as if everyone can cope better, doesn't it? However, remember in most cases, that's not true. It's all well and good putting on a front, but actually acknowledging there may be something wrong and trying to be positive and put it right (like you're doing), is the best step to take.

Talking to someone you feel close to is the best option, but even just spending some time alone and calming yourself down can work wonders as well. Often people don't bother doing that. Above all, I wouldn't let petty things ruin these years of your life when you're still young, so just try your very best to make the most of things and I hope everything goes well.

my friends think i'm really weird!
like one day i'm the happiest moment you will ever meet and others i'm really touchy and get angry/upset over nothing!!! it normally passes through and i think its just hormones but most of the time its nicer to talk to people about it but sometimes you just want to keep it inside you

I empathise with you, I've been feeling really down lately and haven't had a explanation for it, one day I'm happy as anything and some days I'm crying, i put it down to hormones, i think you just need someone to talk to and vent out all your thoughts.
Hope you feel happier soon.
