There is nothing wrong with becoming a policeman. It is a well paid job and an important job too. I can't say it is a nice job, as it does have it's risks! I am watching the Bill right now, as it happens.

My dad is a policeman, it took him 2 years to apply and they got back to him and it took him 18 weeks to train up.

My best friend's husband is a police officer and he has been stabbed while on duty. It does have it's risks, but that is the same as any risky job and there are plenty more.

If it is really what you want love, then go for it. It can be a very hard climb to train to be a policeman but it is the right job for many. Good luck

There is the perfect job for everyone love, if you think it is right then go for it - like I said. There are plenty of jobs in the police force and many are working in the police station/clerical work and much more. Plenty of options open.

This comment is not intended to be funny. Just a fact to consider. I used to be over a small security team one of which was a police recruited "Spacial police officer". It should interest you to know he was barely literate.....He was other things too of which I will not go into here..

If Police life interests you then just apply and see what happens.

I did once also work with an ex police man who had excellent grades qualifications coming out of his ears. Soon found out why he became an ex policeman.....He was a thief and a stupid one at that......All his qualifications failed to give him the intelligence to stay on the right side of the law.

Moral of the story. Qualifications are not everything it all depends on the recruiting police believing the same....
