Well the thing is Checkmate isn't saying hes an insider, hes just saying that this could possibly be inside information. Hes not making any definites.

He posted a newspaper cutting during Big Brother 8 which was proven fake. I remember finding the online editor he used to write it.

How utterlty astonishing smebody is such an insider that they miraculously found out which Friday Big Brother was due to end on. When it was scheldueled for 13 weeks and 1 day.

I never believe any post that starts with "a friend of a friend of a friend" etc. The only insider I trust 100% is Reverse Ferret from DS.
