I don't think so. They aren't actually very interesting housemates singularly. When together they're better, more sweet and funnier.

If they hadn't been twins, they wouldn't have stood a chance getting into BB - they don't make that entertaining housemates.

They got in for the gimmicky value of being twins - nothing more. Well, sorry, they were probably the best twins to audition, but I mean do you really think if Amanda or Sam auditioned on their own they'd get through?

I think they'd still do well on their own and get to the final, but not as well as runner-up. But then if they weren't twins they wouldn't have gotten in in the first place.

Yeah i think they would have done. Because BB look for ditzy blondes that people will either love or hate & thats how they came across in their audition tape.

I agree. The twins were propably origionaly part of a twist that wouldn't work, and they disagreed with it, but were still put into the house.

The producers probably also thought it would up the ratings, but this failed miserably obviously lol

Finally, the producers thought it would be a fresh nice touch, but it really wasn't.

I do! Because unlike some they both do have a personality, they ent fake, don't pretend to be someone they ent, and are lovely girls! Amanda was very, very funny with or with out Sam. One of the best DR moments were when Amanda was reading out the shopping. So yes, they would of made it, they both said in an interview that they did in fact audtion on their own, until BB said we want you both to go in together, so they was just 1 hm and another hm untill BB made them 1 hm. They just entered BB together because we ent never had Twins before.

I love them but they wouldn't have got in alone. I would have still loved whoever which of them went in alone (if that makes sense) I think it was just a gimic.

No of course, the producers chose them only because, they are twins and because they are fresh, entertaining and brilliant together. The twins said that they wouldn't want to do it alone.

Thats the point of this thread. I asked whether you think they would have made it, had only Amanda been auditioning.

I don't think so as when you look at their audition, they don't come across as the people that'd be hard to find at BB audition - shallow, ditzy, blonde (thats how they came across in their audition and thats why they got booed into the house).

i think Sam would of made it because she was more entertaining,smarter and had more of a personality ans she did get in to on e or two fights in the house!im not soo sure about Amanda though!

Uh-huh, true. Although people tend to forget that Eugene was also about as nice as the twins and so was Jonty to be honest.

But thats not my point. They are nice and they are good housemates, but this thread is saying they wouldn't having gotten in had only one auditioned or if they had been only children. Let's be honest, no HM as ever looked specail in their audtion. And who's knows, they might of, they might not. It's all might's

Personaly I think they would of, because they are both bubbly, doppy blondes, and we always get one of them each year.
