X FACTOR judge Sharon Osbourne is being booted off the show.

Bosses are fed up with her bitter behind-the-scenes cat fights with new panellist Dannii Minogue.

They reckon that she’s not bringing anything new to the series. She has lost three years in a row and is unlikely to win this year either.

And insiders claim recent revelations by her brother about her plot to sabotage last year’s contest have damaged the programme’s image.

A source said: “Mrs O’s on her way out. Dannii’s been a breath of fresh air coming on board as a new judge and she’s really spiced up the show.

“Fans still love Simon and Louis. But it’s over for Mrs O. Next year X Factor will be back but without her.”


X Factor chiefs are set to pull the plug on Sharon, 54, when the current series ends just before Christmas.

Producers have been concerned about her performance on the show since they started auditions in June.

Sharon made it clear that she didn’t like the new set-up – when Simon Cowell, 47, got rid of Louis Walsh, 55, and brought in Brian Friedman, 29, and Dannii Minogue, 35.

She failed to gel with choreographer Brian – who is now working with the finalists behind the scenes.
And she didn’t like having a sexy younger girl – Dannii – on board.

The feisty pair are said to have had a number of bust-ups during auditions.

When X Factor held a launch party in August to mark the start of the new series, Sharon never showed – claiming to have work commitments in the States. She sent a sarcastic video message where she hissed: “New judge. Fabulous! It’s all kicking off!”

Sharon then faced the embarrassment of her brother David Arden, 56, running to the papers and lifting the lid on her plot to ruin the show.

He claimed she tried to get long-haired rocker Ben Mills, 27, to quit the show just before the finale – knowing it would throw the series into chaos and annoy boss Simon.

He said: “Last year Sharon was really annoyed that she’d lost two series in a row. She took it really personally, she never likes to lose at anything.

“Ben insists she expressly talked to him about quitting the show. Then she could have declared, ‘My artist was the best but was robbed.’”

TV chiefs were left reeling by the revelations and feel that have tarnished the image of the family show.

And insiders think that this year Sharon doesn’t stand a chance of winning the series with her category, the girls aged 14-24.

However TV bosses may have to hurry to dump Sharon, who has hinted she will quit if she doesn’t win this series. She said: “If I don’t win I will fire myself before someone else does.”

Last night an X Factor spokesman said: “Simon, Sharon and the producers refute any claims that Sharon won’t be back on the show next year.

“Sharon is really enjoying filming the series this year. She is delighted with her category and she’s looking forward to the live shows – where she hopes she will win.”

Although X Factor was on the list of shows to rob money off people who phone in, so I won't be doing any voting. Not that I ever did.

That plus the fact that apparently the contestants at Simons place weren't exactly behaving =/ means perhaps X Factor's reputation will finish before Sharon does.
