Default Top Gear

Discuss Top Gear here =D

Tonight's episode was great! Glad to see 'em back on our screens. Richard was looking rather fetching tonight =] I used to have a hamster called Hammond... but he died =[

So, did anybody watch it tonight?

A very good start to the series, and I have it on good authority that it is definitely going to be their best series yet.

It’s also brilliant to see Jammy Hammy back to his best form and fully recovered from the crash.

The European drive in search of the ‘ world’s best road ’ was obviously a highly useful exercise, , I just kept wondering when a car was going to come around the next blind corner, but not one did.!

The boys were over on The Isle of Man again this summer, and to say it was a laugh would be a slight understatement. lol
Some of us went for a bit of a cruise around what is clearly the real ‘Best road in the world’.

This is the highest point on the Manx TT course on
Mt. Snaefell, and just when you thought you may have seen the back of me, here really is the back of me, my nephew and last but certainly not least The Stig.

I’m really looking forward to the rest of this series, and it’s great to see how much the program has changed from the old days when the political correctness of the BBC and not driving too fast used to restrict the fun of the show.

You will probably recognize this spot Dr.43%er, just below the motorbike museum//café, and a stunning place to watch the TT racers on ‘The Mountain Road’.

Cool pic. I read about that Isle of Man challenge in the Top Gear magazine.

Great show as usual, there's going to be exclusive video clips on the Top Gear website this series. The uncut news is going to be on later on Tuesday - http://www.topgear.com/

There's a preview vid there now - Eurofighter vs Veryon challenge looks great.

Wow, nice pic. You met the Stig o.O *ish jealous*

How old do you have to be to go and watch them? Is there a certain age limit. I've been dying to go. I want their autographs badly xD

Oh, I shall check that preview vid out now, sounds great. ^^

I loved the episode in the last series where they went to America. It was hilarious! The cow on the car... It cracks me up everytime!

Sunday nights are so much better now.

Yeah, the America trip was one of the best parts of the last series.
It was great to meet The Stig but there was no way that helmet was coming off. lol
I don't have any idea about the age restriction on going to the shows, but guess it might be 17 or 18.
If you u2u me just before Christmas I can easily get you Jeremy Clarksons autograph on a cool pic or something but I have a funny feeling that the ones you want may be Stig and The Hamsters, and they are not over as often but still a possibility.

And thanks for the link James.

Darn, looks like I'll have to wait a long time before I can go watch 'em. xD
Really? That'd be awesome! I'd love any of their autographs! Thanks very much =] I'll be sure to U2U you closer to Christmas, cheers! ^^

I do indeed. had some great fun on that road. I take it i have mentioned that I have been over to the "Man" a few time. Not that I remember saying that. But then I don't remember what i was doing last week.

With regards to watching the show. Is it not something like a 2 year wait to get tickets?

I heard that Top Gear is to be axed by the BBC morons in charge, because they haven't got enough money. I have heard various theorys that they are planning to do with Doctor Who and Robin Hood, which are all just stupid. Personally I'd like to see Robin Hood just axed, it is terrible and keep Top Gear.

Haha, that was my favourite part where Jeremy drove past the news reading in that tiny car, I'm surprised someone so tall managed to fit in that tiny little thing. Me and my brother were in stitches. xDD

OMG - Foebane100 I was like "Nooo!" reading that. But I highly doubt its true. [I'd also personally like Robin Hood to be axed, haha!] I hope its not true o_o!

Buuut, I'm dead excited.
I got tickets for the MPH 07 show! OMG. It's on the 11th of November, next Sunday. [the link is further up the page] And hopefully, fingers crossed, I can get their autographs, woo! I'll have to make sure my camera is fully charged, haha! >.>

=D Poor Hammond... He must've been freezing >.>
Haha, the Jesus figurine... lol! Must've been scary going over that really thin ice o.O
The episode where they were doing work on the road and Hammond drove that huge tractor into that small town and held up the traffic, haha xD and then James crushed Jeremy's megaphone under the roller because he got tired of Jeremy ranting xD
