Default Big Brother: Round The Globe (Idea)

It was just an idea and it would probably never happen but what if they did a bb that was screened round the world with housemates coming from different countries. It could be an annual thing, being held in a different country every year! I think it would be quite good. Only problem they might not understand each other. And in every country they would have subtitles obviously to understand what people from other countrys were saying.lol

It's a nice idea, but it wouldn't be possible because of the language barriers.

I'd love that! Of course we probably be the first country to leave. Also, I think it'd get too over-complicated and as people have said the language barrier would be a problem. Most people from other countries speak English, so . . .

It just would not work over here but in Germany it might. The language is a giant problem.

I would love to see a BB featuring UK, AU & US housemates in a 'The Games' style show.

That's another good point - time zones.

Good point about the time zone thing. Hmmm . . . Well we could still make a European BB like Eurovision! That'd be cool.

Anyway, whats The Games?

Yeah, because of language barriers and timezones it probably wouldn't work.

And the UK probably wouldn't be included anyway, since our version has displayed vile cretins who can't handle a little diversity, like the coven of CBB5.

If they didn't let us in because of CBB5 it would just be generlisation at its most. Anyway, I'm sick of Jade's ourtrageous bullying getting called racism - she did nothing of the sort. She did the excact same thing to that woman whos name I can't remember but there was never as much trouble over that and Jade reached the final. Why? Because this girl wasn't a minority!

i couldn't agree more. it was bullying but not racism. there were some racist comments made. but not by jade. but anyway lets not get onto that.

There are transcripts which prove that there were elements of racism behind the coven's mutual feelings against Shilpa. Although the actual upfront bullying didn't have any racial attacks, it was the conversations behind her back that got people complaining to OfCom, and there were conversations that weren't even shown on TV that were found by investigators later on in the year.

Even if there was no racism at all, a big deal was still made out of it internationally, which would hinder the UK's chances of being involved in a Global BB project.

yeh i read those transcripts. whose idea was it to keep it a secret when they knew it was porbably going to come out anyway. just developing the idea a bit. it could be bb allstars but with hms from round the globe. it still be complications though. and would anyone actually want to go back in. if it did happen how long would you want it to last? anyway. im tired. goin to sleep.

An international BB...not a bad idea, not at all. I don't think there would be a language barrage. The auditions in every country could be held in English.

The timezone thing really is the only problem.
