I married one, and am still married to him 16 years later.
We had a wonderful life with the army, we travelled and met some amazing people. |

I live near an Army Foundation camp. They are a nightmare. hundreds of 16-17 year olds in the town centre on a friday night, sat outside McDonalds drinking cider.
Older 'squaddies' are alright though. Anyone that choose's to make a career out of serving 'queen and country' gets a thumbs up from me. It takes guts. i know i wouldn't like to be posted to Iraq or Afganistan |
