She says that she could barely breathe in her costume, and that she wished shed pick another soing
![]() It’s the morning after you went out of the competition. How do you feel? I never expected to get this far so I’m quite content with it, I’m quite happy. What went through your mind when Louis’ vote meant you were out? I was completely gutted. And it was between me and Alisha and that’s what I was upset about. We’ve been best mates throughout this experience. I met her at the very first part of bootcamp and obviously we shared a room in LA. We’re roomies just now. So that was the worst situation we could possibly have been in. Did the two of you talk about it last night, off camera? Not really. She didn’t want to speak, she was really upset, all she wanted to do was curl up in her bed, bless her. We had a bit of a chat and a bit of a cry. And I said to her, ‘girl you really need to win it now’! What did you do when the show ended last night? Went to the bar, and tried to get drunk. I had a chat and said ‘ta-ra’ to everyone. Is there anything you would have done differently? I wouldn’t have sung that song, It's Raining Men, I would have chosen a belter which would have showed I can sing. A power ballad. And the choreography didn’t help, because I had so much to think about. But it all comes together for a good performance, and I’m a performer. I’m there to entertain people. I wanted to go out with a bang and I think I did that. Before the show, you were worried about your stage outfit restricting your breathing… I was. I had some problems at rehearsal because it was too tight. But I more or less sorted that out before going on. What’s been the best thing about the whole experience? Meeting some lovely, lovely people, and getting the chance to sing in front of those four judges. I had some brilliant comments from them until last night. It’s not everyone can say they’ve done that. What won’t you miss from the show? I won’t miss standing there, wondering who is going to go out. And what won’t you miss from the house? The stinky boys! All boys are stinky. Have you spoken to Sharon since you went out? I have, She’s called me quite a few times since. She was really upset and she was angry. She really took it to heart and felt it was a personal attack on her. But she’s invited me over for Sunday dinner today so I’m going to go and see her later. It’ll be fun. I think she’s just really upset at the minute. Do you think she was serious when she said she was leaving? I really don’t know, you know what she’s like…She was very upset but I don’t know whether she’d be that drastic. Who do you want to win now? It’s gotta be Alisha. Like I say, she’s my best friend, and the problem really was with the song, not with her. It didn’t do her justice. What are your plans for the future? I’ll take each day as it comes, Everything happens for a reason. I don’t think I’ll be on the X Factor Tour because I think it’s only the final eight, which I’m gutted about. But I’d like to do something to do with musicals, because I love being on stage. |
