In the Daily Star. (bastion of truth ) there is a two double page spread.

On the second of these Chanelle has told the Daily Star that whilst on a holiday, she thought she might be pregnant and got hotel staff to obtain a pregnancy testing kit. This seems to have indicated positive and she has told Zach.

There is a but, 18 months ago when she had an abortion, it seems they did not do it right and two times during Big Brother it seems she had to go to hospital.

She is yet to have a further "routine" op to clear things up.

I am no gynaecologist, but I would have thought an operation in that area is very likely to cause a miscarriage, assuming that Chanelle is Pregnant and did not get a false positive from that over the counter test. My understanding is that you should not rely on them and must get a GP to diagnose pregnancy.

Now although this is the Daily Star, it is not a “friend of a friend” or a “sources close to” so there may be some reliability to this story.

Big Brother's hot lovers Chanelle Hayes and Ziggy Lichman have been hiding their secret baby joy.


During their luxury sunshine break Wakefield lass Chanelle thought she had fallen pregnant.


Gorgeous Chanelle, 19, called on staff at the Royal Meridien hotel, Dubai, to dash across the city to a chemist’s and buy a pregnancy test.


The concierge smuggled the kit into her lavish suite on a silver tray and Chanelle locked herself in the bathroom to find out if she was expecting.


She then called former pop singer Ziggy, 26, in to join her and broke the news. It was a special joy for Chanelle to even think she could be pregnant.


She had been dealt a horrifying blow by medics in the UK who said she might never be able to have children following a botched abortion 18 months ago.

Opening her heart exclusively to the Daily Star, Chanelle says she did not want to confirm officially the baby news until she had spoken to her mum and dad.


But the blonde beauty today lifts the lid on her health horror which almost ruined her stay in the Big Brother house.


She was whisked out twice and taken to hospital in agony. Chanelle recalls: “While I was in the house I was due to go in for an operation to remove a cyst on one of my ovaries.


“I had been pretty ill with it and was ready to go ahead with the op when I was chosen to be in the show.


“I was meant to have the op in June and to be honest I didn’t think I would last very long in the house. I thought I would go in, have a couple of weeks of it then get evicted in time to have the operation. But it didn’t end up like that.”


Instead the beauty, whose adoptive parents Harry and Christine tried to get her to go through with the op, suffered days of agonising stomach cramps.


And she was eventually forced to beg producers to allow her out of the house to seek medical attention.


Now the sexy lass has discovered the cyst on one of her ovaries is the least of her problems. The internal examination revealed her abortion had been bungled.


Chanelle, who had the abortion just after her 18th birthday, explains: “Basically the doctors told me I have what they call a ‘retained product’.


“It means the abortion wasn’t done properly and they left a bit of it in me, which has caused me a lot of pain.”


Chanelle has managed to fulfil a busy diary of high-profile modelling jobs and mag deals. But the success has been overshadowed by the pain she has suffered.


She says: “I am in a terrible lot of pain most of the time. The sad thing is that doctors told me I might never be able to have children, which was completely devastating.


“I got rid of that baby because I could not give it the life I want – but to think that that decision might have destroyed my chances of ever being a mum is terrible.”


Chanelle is due to take three weeks out of her hectic schedule to have the operation and admits she is worried sick about it, even though doctors have assured her it is a routine procedure.


She adds: “I am just keeping everything crossed and hoping that my decision to go into Big Brother won’t turn out to be the biggest mistake of my life and ruin my chance of being a mum.”

I don't see how, as it was them speaking to the Daily star, anyway it would have been libel, not slander.

There is still the danger of a miscarriage from what I can see.

OK, so the latest story in the ongoing Chanelle/Ziggy saga is that she’s now pregnant. Yesterday, we revealed how reports of their engagement were just fabricated rubbish, so today after reading the latest – ahem – revelation in a down-market tabloid, we got straight on the phone to their agents to find out the truth. Both agents are currently tied up in ongoing deals with the newspaper group so would neither confirm or deny the rumour, but heatworld spoke to a source VERY VERY close to Ziggy who confirmed that the story is, indeed “a load of b******s”. You can always count on heatworld to bring the truth. We’re nice like that.

Chanelle is in the Daily Star again, talking about how she believes that ther man who killed her biological mother, Kieth Pollard, is going to kill her as well and how she is living in terror.

Kieth Pollard killed her mother, just after he got out of prison on licence for another murder of an elderly lady. So why are they releasing him again next April

Again, this is a series of interviews of Chanelle .by the Daily Star, not "Friends close to etc"

What you have to remember is that Heat is part of Mirror Group Newspapers and the Daily Star is part of The Express Group News Papers as is OK magazine. (I am a bit tight so can someone else scan to see if these interviews are appearing in OK as well?)
