Some musicals run for, like, 30 years, but poor old Bad Girls has had a rather short sentence at London’s Garrick Theatre – it’s closing after just three months after some bad reviews and even worse ticket sales. The musical, based on the ITV series, was originally set to run until next March, but is now closing in a couple of weeks. It’s bad news for Charley (no giggling at the back, now) who was due to appear in the show but now, er, won’t be. A shame for all of those who were looking forward to seeing her behind bars...
