Default Why all the hatred for Two Pints...?

Why do so many people hate this show. I absolutely love it and think it is one of the best comedy shows on TV, however some people really resent it and i cannot understand why.

Hopefully the new series will be on soon!!!

Johnny won't be in it? Then what's the point? =[

The only reason it's worth watching is because those people work so well together...if one of them randomly disappears and there's no more "Janet and Johnny" then the main focus of the series has gone.

But yea, I quite like it.
And have watched the repeats all the way through on BBC3 quite a few times.

Jonny was the only character I didn't like. It was always biscuit-jokes and silly attempts at being clever/sarcastic... not funny.

But yeah, I like this show overall. Donna and Louise are the best

A lot of the most emotionally triggering stories/most relevant and important revolved around Janet and Johnny and them being together...

They even had an episode devoted to how they met.
And proceeded to have a baby and have the majority of scene's shot round there house.

They were the last to survive the "horror" episode in the pub.

Everything just generally revolves around them.
The writer intentionally includes a little more emphasis on those two, so the viewers grow to love them more. They're a likable couple, and were pulled from the "Royale Family" especially.

So they really were a massive part of the show, if you look at things in more detail.

Well if I HAD to pick a main character, it'd be her...
But they didn't intentionally make her the main character, she just has the best acting skills so she got to handle more material.

Hence why she went on to do a completely different series that was almost identical to "two pints" and managed to carry the show all by herself, surrounded by amateur actors.

Forgot the name of it now though >_<

Johnny was originally supposed to be the main character in my view, when u look back on the early series, but as time has gone by, i agree that janet is now the main focus.

I love kelly the most, my favourite episode is when shes copying donna! and at the end with the sheep. She seems to have a rapore ( is that how u spell it) with all the characters. Her and Jonny in the baby facilities row too funny. Mr Pump-lager lmao.

Two Pints is ace, and the new series is on at the end of January. They started filming about a week ago.

The Royle Family still sh*ts allover it though
