I'm sure you've all been to some crap hole's in your time, but what's the worst place you've ever come across?

I'd go with a place in northern France called Montreuil-sur-mer.I went there about 8 years ago for a school day trip, as a way to test out our French.It was just a very poor day,the weather was the only good thing about the day.I just found the place a smelly mess really.

To top it off we came across quite a few horrible people, some lunatic came up to us and started swearing and making rude comments to our female teacher,we went in some shop where most people got short changed and others got taken away into some room to be searched as they believe they were stealing, most of the people they searched were the most well behaved people in my year .

We were meant to stay longer but everyone hated the place so we all went home early.The place may have changed now but it was awful when I went there.

Northern France is always clousy and rainy, nothing entertaining. Even cows don't want to live there. It's so green and desperate.

Actually the worse place I visited is a little village in Italy, really poor and dead. That was so ugly and awful, like nobody lives there for 100 years.

The worst place ive ever visited wasn't so much the place, but that one time I went there.

The other times I went there were great, just not this one.

Anyhow, the place was Skiathos in Greece, and whilst there my holiday started by standing on a giant wasp [they have huge red tails/stringers over there.] which stuck right into my foot.

Then I found myself covered in bites, which I assumed to be mosquito bites, but I never get those...so it seemed quite odd. Then I found out it wasn't mosquito's, but my bed had an ants nest in it, and every night they'd crawl all over me in my sleep and bite me.

The holiday ended with me waking up in bed with a swollen lip and two strange marks on my hand, my lip was extremely large and we soon saw a giant black venemous centipede on the floor running away from my bed.

It took a long time to get to the hospital because we had to wake up the owner of the apartments who was greek, and explain to him our dilema lol.

When arriving at the hospital they asked how long since id been bitten, then said if it's been under 20mins, and you're allergic to the venom, then you'll die soon >_<

Luckily I wasn't allergic to the venom and was fine, but the only way I would have found out I was allergic was by collapsing dead lol.

So yea, all that plus the thought of a centipede on my mouth = bad place to go at that time.

Hearklion airport in Crete, Greece. Im in it 6 times a yer to visit my grandparents. Its so crowded and the air conditioning, despite it being 37 degrees outside is always on too high, and in departures lounge, theres only 1 shop. A massive department store that everyone flocks to and the ques are too long. The only restaraunt in departures is right beside the massive smoking room, which is not nice to smell when your trying too eat!

lol, I hate primark almost as bad as Heraklion airport! Its so big and full of cheep, horrible clothes. I've only ever found 2 good T shirts and 1 good scarf there. (I bought them)

thats the worst airport iv ever been to and iv been to quite a few.
