THE jungle celebs are set to face the most terrifying bushtucker trials ever — including a wing walk on a plane, The Sun can reveal.

In a series of nightmare challenges, the jungle campers will be STUFFED in a cable car hung over a dam, forced to CRAWL over high wires and SQUEEZED into a diving bell on a lake bed.

And if that’s not bad enough, they’ll be LOCKED in tiny chambers in the dark while spiders, rats, cockroaches and slime are poured on them.

A show source said: “These will be the most frightening challenges yet.”

Janice and Marc faced the first task yesterday, the aptly-named Wheel of Misfortune.

But if they thought that was bad they’d better not be nominated for Fright Flight.

In the trial, a celeb will be harnessed on each wing of a plane. As the plane — supported by a crane — “flies” down a valley the duo will have to walk back and forth to find the right balance to angle the aircraft through inflatable slalom cones.

They must grab stars from the cones before the plane comes to a controlled “crash”.

Equally scary will be the Dreadful Drop where two stars will board a gold mine cable car hung above a dam. They will have to stop it and dive into the water for stars.

Just as nerve-wracking is Catch A Crawling Star in which celebs will crawl on their stomachs along cables hundreds of feet above a valley.

As they move, the celeb on the top line will drop stars so the contestant underneath can catch them in a small basket.
In Dreading Water, one celeb will sink to a lake bed in a diving bell.

They will then search in a diving helmet for bubbles containing stars while crocs, eels, giant crabs and water spiders are dropped in around them.

Back on dry land, two celebs will be put in a tiny capsules in darkness as all sorts of nasties are poured on them for the Snake Rock challenge.

The capsules will also fill with water. The first team to bottle out loses.

It all sounds good to us — let the fun begin!
