Tim Burton is to direct a new motion capture (like Beowulf and The Polar Express) animated version of Alice In Wonderland (simply called Alice). He will also direct a full length feature based on his animated short Frankenweenie (which tells the story of a young boy who brings his dog back to life after it's run over). Frankenweenie will use stop motion animation as seen in A Nightmare Before Christmas and The Corpse Bride. Both films will be made for Disney.
