Big Brother contestant Seany O’Kane has set up a Facebook group in an attempt to get work while milking his ‘star’ status.
The curly-haired Irishman was a development worker before achieving his dream of appearing on the reality show, but he has not been satisfied to go back to normal life.
Instead, the Michael Jackson-obsessive wants fulfilling work while still being acknowledged as a ‘celebrity’. Seany is calling the venture a “social experiment”.
“I’m Seany. For most of you I need no introduction,” he writes, “I am currently an unemployed semi-famous person who has just been getting paid recently for being 'known'.”
But he insists he is looking for more rewarding employment, despite having worked in the presumably extremely rewarding field of anti-racism and charity initiatives in the past.
“Will I be employed for being me or will my skills actually be utilised? Do I get paid extra money to work in a shop as it will attract a bigger clientele just because I am there?” he boasts, before musing on what it would be like being a “celebrity bricklayer”.
A smattering of fans have posted up suggestions, including the inevitable stripper, stylist, hot sauce ambassador and, curiously, philosopher.
We're not sure about the last one, but, after lamping that Jacko impersonater for being "disrespectful", we reckon he’d be nifty in the ring, so to speak – can you see him as a featherweight fighter?
He’s a bit of a diva and took on a bit part in Bloody Sunday with James Nesbitt – how about a full-blown Shakespearean actor?
And lest we forget, he previously stated his dream job is inventing toys - well, it’s that festive time of year again and we’re sure Santa would be interested in recruiting an extra elf.
If you have any suggestions or want to go into business with a Big Brother evictee, email I_WANT_TO_EMPLOY_SEANY@hotmail.co.uk with your ideas.
