Cerys: Parents upset?

Cerys Matthews has admitted she can't wait to be reunited with Marc Bannerman - even though she admitted their jungle antics will have upset her mum and dad.

The 38-year-old singer got a letter from Marc over the weekend saying he would return to Oz to see her after she was evicted if she wanted him to.

After surviving Saturday night's eviction, she said: "At least I have another 24 hours for Marc to get here."

And Cerys confided in Anna Ryder Richardson: "I didn't think that you could get so intense in such a short amount of time with anybody. My mum and dad will be squirming." Anna predicted Marc would return from London like a "knight in shining armour".

She added: "This could be the biggest love story since Romeo and Juliet." Marc, 34, has been staying with friends and keeping out of the spotlight since he arrived back home in London on Saturday.

His long-term girlfriend Sarah Matravers yesterday told how she had dumped him over the phone after asking if he was in love with Cerys. She said: "He couldn't seem to answer. He just said 'I don't know' and 'Sorry' over and over again.

"I told him it was over. That's it. He didn't say much."
