CERYS IS OUT AND BIGGINS WILL WIN!

Christopher Biggins, Janice Dickinson and Jason “J” Brown will battle it out to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle today.

The I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contest saw Cerys Matthews booted out last night - but fellow camper Marc Bannerman was not in Australia to meet her.

Dickinson and bookies’ favourite Biggins were told they were through to today’s final first, with Matthews and Brown having to sweat it out for another hour to see who would make it through.

In her interview with Ant and Dec last night, Matthews said she was “gutted” after being told that fellow contestant Bannerman was not in Australia.

Former EastEnder Bannerman was first to be evicted after constantly flirting with Welsh singer Matthews despite having a long-term girlfriend at home.

His girlfriend of two-and-a-half years, actress Sarah Matravers, flew out to Australia to confront him but left before he was evicted.

Bannerman wrote in a letter to Matthews: “There are many problems in London and I’ve had to go back to try and sort them out - but I may well return to greet you when you come out, if that is your wish. Marc.”

She later sent a message to Bannerman through the Bush Telegraph: “I’d love him to come out if that’s what he thinks is a good idea, because he knows all the answers now.

She added: “I don’t want to make any more mess than I’ve maybe already made.”
Later, Dickinson told the others about an area of her life where she did hold some knowledge - her experience of plastic surgery.

But last night the Welsh singer was told that Bannerman was not there after all.

She told Ant and Dec: “I’m a bit gutted he’s not here, actually. But I have got my kids waiting for me.”

Asked when she realised she was first attracted to him, Matthews said: “We got on well from the beginning... We started spending more time together and it was like: ’Oh, shoot’, because it’s not right, is it?”

Asked if the situation had been “intensified” in the jungle, she replied: “I will have to tell you that when I get out.

“It is certainly a special place... and you forget about everything else.”

She tipped Biggins to win the ITV1 show.

Viewers have seen Dickinson and evicted contestant, PR guru Lynne Franks at each other’s throats during this year’s show.

Franks previously begged the public not to let the Seventies supermodel be crowned Queen of the Jungle.

Before Matthews’ eviction, the four remaining contestants could not answer questions about the one subject they would be expected to know about - themselves.

They had to answer three questions about their own life and career.

Dickinson was asked what year she started dating Sylvester Stallone and said it was 1991.

Ex member of boyband 5ive Brown told her it was 1993.

She replied: “Well, we really dated in 1991.”

The campers have been irritated by Dickinson.

Biggins joked that they had to make a pact to ensure she did not win.

Brown told the Bush Telegraph: “I just hope the public aren’t blagged by the facade Janice puts on sometimes, like every time there is an eviction there’s the cry of crocodile tears that start and they genuinely are fake tears.

“It’s just the psychological tactics she’s using - she thinks she’s being clever and it’s so blatant.”

Dickinson was injured in a trial and had to be seen by a medic.

Matthews said: “I think she was on her bum and then there was a gush of water and she flipped right over.”

She said: “You’re looking at a man. I had a bunionectomy. I had a bunion sliced and it was very painful. I was a ballerina so that was my first operation, I call it mandatory surgery.

“Then we go up the body and I was a guinea pig when botox came along.

“The botox injections were mandatory for the fine lines and the crow’s feet and then after 32 years of just being flat-chested, all of a sudden I had breasts and it felt great.

“After breastfeeding and lactating, I decided to get some implants.”

William Hill made Biggins red hot 1/4 favourite to win and expects to accept up to £2,000 a minute in the final few hours of betting - with more than £1 million gambled industry-wide today.

And with 90% of bets to date for Biggins, the bookies are hoping that Dickinson can come to their rescue.

“We are on the verge of taking a hammering - anyone but Biggins!” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

William Hill are offering odds of 3/1 on Dickinson to win and 10/1 on Brown.
