DANNII Minogue stormed out of the X Factor studio in tears after a raging row with Louis Walsh.

The judges clashed as cheeky Louis blasted Dannii for saying his finalist Niki Evans had sung out of tune.

Dannii, 36, told the hopeful: “I watched the tape from last week and you were completely out of tune.”

But raging Irishman Louis, 55, hit back live on air by taking a pop at the Aussie star’s own voice, saying: “Dannii, singing out of tune? Ho ho!”

And backstage, tensions rose as Dannii sobbed over Louis’ jibes about her career.

She failed to return following an ad break, leaving Sharon Osbourne to fill her absence by clambering on to Simon Cowell’s lap.

A source said: “Louis keeps joking about Dannii’s singing talents and it’s really getting to her.”

The ITV1 hit scooped 10.5 million viewers - the best ratings of the live shows so far.

She did it because Louis was a cheap shot. She is a judge and is there on her own merits the same as the other judges. She nor any of the judges should be personally attacking each other on national TV, it shows a lack of class.

Dannii's had loads of hit records in the dance scene though - if Louis is going to criticise that then he can hardly give Rhydian praise each week because he's not singing pop songs either.

Anyway, I still think Louis is an ersehole. I wish he'd shut up.

It really annoys me when people slag off Dannii Minogue for not having a successful career but what people forget is that she has had 9 singles in the top 10 with 4 or 5 just missing out. She isn't very successful in the mainstream charts when you look at her whole discography but she has released 13 singles into the dance charts and she has got a number 1 with every single one of them.

It could be argued that Dannii is actually more successful than Louis, as most of his bands have charted really badly. The only ones that have gone on years later are Boyzone and Westlife. Heres a full list of Louis' bands

I'm not surprised Danni has done so well in the dance charts, she's a well known act and there's never too much mainstream competition for her.

Were Eton Road even properly managed by Louis? They never released anything.

Most of the time the acts he has managed have all been fairly successful.There's always going to be failures but on the whole he's done pretty well.

To be fair he can only judge Rhydian on his voice at the moment.

He's only really having a go at Danni's voice and how successful she has been in the top 40.

Yeah, but you see what I mean right? It's pointless and petty of him to make comments like that, I understand it's to hype up the show and they clearly don't mean these things, but it's still an idiotic thing to say on television, especially when the program isn't about Dannii Minogue's singing talents.

It's not even relevant whether Dannii can sing or not. I can't sing for toffee but I know when someone is a terrible singer. I'm sure none of the other judges can sing but they can give critique on people's performances.

He still takes credit for Girls Aloud, but they ditched Louis after about a month because they seen the crap manager that he was. Look at that list. There aren't many successes on there. I would say the only real success is Cilla Black as she is still in the public eye after god knows how long.

Everything that Westlife release does well and that's about 7/8 years down the line.

Boyzone,G4,Samantha Mumba,Six and Ronan were all successful whilst he managed them.Some might not be around now but he had success whilst managing them.29 number 1 singles for acts he has managed is a pretty good record by anyone's standards.

They probably wont be but then again Cilla's stayed around for her tv work rather than selling records for a long time.

The point is most of the acts that Louis has managed have done well in the charts, some may have only been over a short period but it's still good.

I agrre with Sunny. Louis showed a lack of class with his little dig, but he shows lack of class all the time. He seems to want to argue with Simon over virtually everything and he often wants to tactically vote out the act that is the biggest threat to him. Look at his constant digs about Same Difference and who can forget him saving the Conway sisters over Maria Lawson a few years ago. The show would have so much more credibility if Simon finally got rid of him
