Default Question for the General Public: What do YOU like about Big Brother UK?

Hi all,

I know this might seem random, but I was hoping to get some help here! I am a university student from the United States who has decided to write a paper about Big Brother, and I therefore wanted to get a variety of opinions about the different versions of the show around the world.

I have a general sense of what Big Brother in the United Kingdom is like--I know there are differences between the US version and the UK version. But I was hoping to get some individual, personal responses from UK viewers explaining why they like the show.

So, if you could take a moment to briefly reply to this thread and post what you like about Big Brother UK, that would be great! Why do you watch it? What do you enjoy about it?

I can promise you that anything you say will be kept 100% anonymous in anything I write, though I doubt I will be directly quoting people in whatever I end up writing.

Thank you so much for your time, and I will definitely appreciate any responses I get from you guys!

Sincerely,
"American Devon"

I love watching people that wouldent usualy mix be put in house at once and see how they will react to each other. Like putting a cat and a dog in a small room.

I watch it for the experiment: how different people from different social classes can live together. Actually Big Brother is a representation of our societies and this is really interesting.
The twists represent the lows and downs we have in life and how the housemates cope with.

BBUK goes were now BB goes. It has world first experiments, and the best thing is (although it may have changed over the past 12 months) it has no fear. They are not afraid to mix characters and there aim is to shock and surprise the public. No other show in UK history would have dreamed of putting a Transsexual into a house with a anti-gay Muslim. BBUK aim is to cause controversy, although sometimes it goes a bit too far (CBB5 Race Row).

BBUK has changed over the years; from a social experiment to a new twisted form of entertainment. It is one of the most talked about TV shows and I think now it has become a annual tradition. I can't remember a summer without BB, and I can't imagine one either.
