LEONA LEWIS and her fella will spend the New Year in a romantic cabin on one of the world’s most exclusive beaches. The only problem is, so will half her bosses at Sony BMG.

SIMON COWELL and co splashed out on the Caribbean break for the X Factor winnerand LOU AL-CHAMAA as a reward for her incredible year.

But the holiday might not be the kind of getaway Lou had in mind.

Leona’s bosses will be in the beach huts next door – and Simon spends every Christmas in the Caribbean.

A pal said: “It’s all expenses paid, in a private cabin in one of the world’s most beautiful locations.

“But I’m not sure this is quite the perfect break for a young couple.”

Leona’s single Bleeding Love has been No1 since October and album Spirit, the fastest-selling UK debut ever, is also at the top of the charts.

With Simon and US music mogul CLIVE DAVIS behind her, I predict she’ll be huge in the States too.

But if record sales were based on personality she’d struggle to make the Top 100 – she needs to open up.

Leona, still just a shy East London homebird, only accepted the gift with a catch – she’ll have Christmas Day with family in Hackney.

Her pal added: “She’ll fly out on Boxing Day. All this showbiz stuff still feels strange to Leona and Lou.”

I must admit, it’s nice these childhood sweethearts are still together despite Leona’s surge to stardom.

I wonder what their secret is? Maybe Simon and the Sony BMG suits will find out this Christmas.
